The results of the local elections were:-

PSOE 6 Seats, PP 5 Seats, Xàbia Democratica 3 Seats, Bloc Centristes 3 Seats, CpJ 2 Seats and Nueva Jávea 2 seats.

On June 9th José Chulvi - PSOE, Óscar Antón - Xàbia Democratica and Juan Ortolà CpJ signed the pact / agreement to form the new Municipal Government of Jávea Xàbia. The objectives of the pact are:-

1) Exercise control over public expenditure through an austerity plan.
2) Transparency and more citizen participation.
3) Modernise and streamline local administration.
4) Establish and implement a strategic plan.
5) Sustainable development.
6) Improve infrastructure, basic services and public facilities.
7) Stop the loss and damage to the cultural heritage and landscape.
8) Promoting the integration and co-existence of all citizens.
