Where is it and what time is it open? The “Ecoparc” is situated on the Cami de les Sorts (next door to the Jávea Municipal Dog Shelter) which runs through the middle of the valley between the Cabo La Nao road and the Jávea to Benitachell road.

 It is open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday.

What to do when you visit? First of all you must visit the office (which is situated on the left as you enter) where you provide your name and car registration number – no other details are required to register your visit. (They may ask to see your Passport or Residencia so have a copy with you.) You then explain (or show) the manager on duty what items you have brought for disposal and if required, he will assist you to dispose of these items in the correct container.

What items can be disposed? Please note that all containers or their locations are marked with the corresponding signs so you know which container to use for each item.

Large plastic containers (e.g. used paint containers) Metal containers, Paint Remains, Batteries – please note that there are two containers: one for large, one for small batteries, Fluorescent tubes Second hand clothes , Flat glass items

Situated on the eastern boundary of the “Ecoparc” with vehicle access for easier disposal. Container for computers, printers, scanners, electrical household items, ovens, televisions, fans, etc. Hard Plastic remains, Scrap iron, Wood, Household items, Mattresses, Green Garden Rubbish , Rubble (not for professional builders - limited amount per day .)
